"Captain Doug fell in love with the water at a very young age in northern Michigan, where he spent his childhood in and around the Great Lakes. Doug began charter sailing yachts at the age of 17, and has not slowed down since. His love for yacht sail vacation is now greater than his love for me (Jessica). After graduating with a Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University he moved to the Caribbean to follow his dreams to become a professional caribbean yacht charter captain and reconnected with his family roots.

With over a decade of charter sail vacation experience, he is a very skilled sailor and navigator with an expansive knowledge of the Caribbean's Virgin Islands anchorages and cays, which gives Captain Doug's Virgin Island yacht charter folk better anchorages than the next. Doug is as comfortable under the water as he is on land. He is an avid free-diver and PADI Advanced Diver, and looks forward to making you feel at home in the water and aboard Prima Donna 2 when you are enjoying your sail vacation with us.

Jessica was born and raised, among horses and hayfields, in the heart of Southern Kentucky. A wander-lust ridden kid consummately seeking adventure enveloped in science, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Kentucky. After completing college Jessica travelled to the Virgin Islands, where the turquoise waters and abundant marine life captured her heart, maybe a yacht charter life would be wonderful? After spending three years in the boating industry, she couldn't be more excited to have found a new home aboard Prima Donna 2 taking happy vacationers on their special yacht sail vacation, which we call "Peter Pan Land." Her flare for Southern hospitality and passion for home-cooking are sure to leave you craving more treats from her galley. In addition to whipping up gourmet cuisine, Jessica is an experienced PADI Dive Master. Her extensive knowledge of the marine life, as well as experience with the most pristine dive sites, will leave both the most advanced diver or first time snorkeler enamored with the underwater world of Peter Pan Land.
